New Passport application at Austrian Embassy, London

We booked our holiday with Expedia. It all started online… we got a really good price for 3 Adults and 1 infant. And it was a direct flight with Virgin as Jon had insisted! He was even more so excited after learning the aircraft we would be flying in was a 747-400.

Somewhere during the booking process, the website asks you to fill in your passport details. Ooops. I just remembered my passport had expired in December 2013.  So I called Expedia just to find out if I indeed needed my passport number to complete the booking. The lady I spoke to didn’t answer my question straight away but rambled on about how she can finish the booking and get a good price for me and what not! So after about 10mins she informed me that I didn’t need my passport number to complete the booking, but I will need it to check in and at the airport…. duh moment!!! Continue reading

1950’s Street Photography of NYC and Chicago

I absolutely love the 1920’s through to the 1950’s of American Culture. Sometimes wishing I could travel back in time just so I could experience it.

I love the 1920’s for it’s elegance and craziness. The 1920’s, also know as the “Roaring twenties” or “jazz age”, was a period of sustained economic prosperity. oh gosh, I haven’t written for a while…

I’m back

haven’t been on this blog for a while. November 24 was the last time I posted something and it wasn’t even something I wrote, but a guest post.

There has been a good reason for the lack of updates …. or just a good excuse really. Returning to work after maternity was a bit demanding. And coming back home after a commute from Manchester, all I wanted to do is cuddle my darling.

Arya eating her biscuit

Arya is now 14 months old and a little bit independent already, that I feel I can devote more time on my travel blog. In fact we are flying to Vienna in just under 3 weeks for our Easter break and I am now planning what to do with a toddler when I am there.

I’ll be posting about my findings later so keep an eye out for that.

I am committed to regularly updating my blog now, but from time to time I may include posts about other projects that are dear to me and may not be travel related at all!

Hope to see you all around!
